About This Product
Heat bands (shrink bands) are a cost-effective way to secure your product, offering a tamper evident solution. The perforation allows for easy customer removal.
To use a heat band, slide the sleeve over the container with the closure applied. Apply heat using a heat gun or a conventional hair dryer that can reach 200 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat band will shrink into place creating a tamper evident seal.
For 28mm neck finish bottles, a specific heat band is designed for low profile caps or low profile 31mm cork top bottles with Bartops.
Product Specifications
- Heat bands are perforated to allow easy removal.
- Tapered corks may require a taller heat band. Please contact your account manager with questions.
- This product does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) or lead. It is Prop 65 compliant.
- Each shrink band is designed for a specific bottle and closure combination. The customer is responsible for selecting and testing the proper heat band for your container, closure, and precise application.
