Glassnow's bar top closure with pour feature is a versatile and convenient option for sealing bottles containing various food products. This design provides convenience and functionality for dispensing oils, vinegars, spirits, soy sauces and more.
The open and close system of the bottle stopper ensures excellent sealing even after multiple uses, eliminating the need for a traditional cap or cork. This design offers a synthetic shaft with a push on black plastic cap that covers the pour feature to prevent contamination of products when not in use.
The stopper is made from thermoplastic resin and combines a drip-saving pourer with a classic closure. This item complies with US legislation Title 21 of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Specs & Description
- Synthetic corks are made of plastic or rubber and are less likely to crumble or break when removed from the bottle compared to natural cork, as they are typically more durable.
- This product does not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) or lead. It is Prop 65 compliant.
- Synthetic bar tops are intended for single use as they fit too tight for reuse. For products requiring on-and-off reuse, we recommend a cork shank bar top.
- An advantage of using synthetic corks is that they can help reduce the occurrence of cork taint. Cork taint is caused by a compound called trichloroanisole (TCA), which can contaminate natural cork and affect the aroma and flavor of products.
- It is the customers responsibility to test compatibility between a closure and the specific bottle they intend to use. Testing ensures a secure fit and that the top operates effectively for each individual product purpose.
